Project Description

This product is an intelligent POTS phone line switch for situations where customers have two independent incoming phone lines that they want multiplexed onto a single receiving line for incoming calls and then still be able to dial out on a selected outgoing line.

Target market: Home VoIP Users

This product has been specifically designed for home VoIP clients who would like to have a single handset connect to both their low cost VoIP phone line as well as their legacy POTS land line.

Intelligent POTS Switch

How it Works

Home users are able to make outgoing calls on their low cost VoIP line but may also dial out on their legacy land line in case of emergencies or VoIP circuit failure. For incoming calls these clients can use a single handset for receiving both incoming calls from the VoIP line as well as the legacy land line.

Ultra Low Power

The unit is powered from the legacy land line, and incorporates an ultra-low power micro-controller to implement the line switching matrix.

International Success

The product has been successfully deployed in both France and South Africa.
